Metung Hot Springs

The hot springs were an absolute highlight. They have designed it so beautifully, you can connect with the land, lakes and the bush. It was a very healing experience. We stayed for over 4 hours and brought a picnic and had food from the cafe. Highly recommend. The kids loved it too. Thank you.

We had a great visit to Metung Hot Springs! It’s always been on the list of places to visit to added it to our weekend away at Lakes Entrance. The carpark was full when we arrived at 10am without a booking but the place did not feel super busy, much to explore and the small intimate areas located around the place was a really nice touch. Construction continues so can’t wait to come back later to see how the place changes.

Absolutely loved our time at Metung Springs, we stayed a night in the glamping tents that felt more like a luxury hotel than a tent. The inclusions were amazing and you were left wanting for nothing at all. Such a laid back friendly atmosphere even with the renovations going on. The trip on the golf buggy added a novel VIP feel to the hillside baths. Couldn’t recommend more

My expectations were low. I had no idea what to expect as I'd never been to a Hot Springs before.
I was blown away with the amenities and thoroughly enjoyed my time dipping in all the pools. It was very relaxing. Some were a wee bit hot so I didn't spend too much time in them but the views and helpful staff made for a very fun day.
I can definitely recommend the Metung Hot Springs.

Wow what a marvelous place. So beautifully maintained. You will have a great time guys. This place us being expanded to make it even better. They offer different hot springs starting from 28c and going up to 44 degrees centigrade. Wow if you feel cold you have two dry saunas to quickly warmup and go to the next. Reasonable prices clean towels and gowns provided for a very reasonable price. Very friendly and assertive staff. They also have few cabanas with therapeutic massage.

Nice day out. Lots of different pools, great views and love the thermal barrels at the top. Went during peak summer and wasn't too busy! Still able to sometimes have a pool/sauna to ourselves. Can rent towels, robes and lockers- but also free lockers inside. Would recommend going to the changing rooms at the end of the path if the first ones are busy. The staff are friendly and chatty. Would also recommend bug spray when going as lots of mosquitos around. It would also be good if there were more food options other than the little Cafe. Maybe the opportunity to go to the clubhouse for lunch and be able to come back to the spas after. But overall a great experience worth doing

I went with my husband and 6month old baby and also with a couple of friends. We had so much fun, it was so relaxing, the staff was really nice and accomodating with our baby. There was so much available for the day bathing which was great, lots to choose from. Definitely a must do if you're around Metung.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Metung Hot Springs. It was a cool day but perfect for relaxing in the hot pools. Be sure to go in the hot barrels at the top. A beautiful morning relaxing in Mother Nature’s best.

An phenomenal morning spent hanging out at the Hot Springs with the family. The staff were incredible and only too happy to take photos, answer questions from curious kids and point us in the right direction to find the barrels.
A special shout out to Milu who was helpful and patient with the kids - she made the morning for us!!

We saw mixed reviews before we came here. So this is our verdict. If you drive 3.5 hrs from Melbourne and expect you will get the same as Mornington Peninsula, please don't. This place is still expanding and we can see very good potential in the future. However, we did glamping and we LOVED it! The private barrels in out tent are our highlights. It's private and we could enjoy it anytime we'd like. It's highly recommended to stay overnight to fully enjoy this hot spring & revive from the long drive. We realise the hillside tents are better and more secluded. The public areas we love are the hilltop barrels and the lagoon sauna!

I almost want to keep this place a secret as it was so peaceful and friendly, but I feel compelled to promote it. The pools and saunas are integrated seamlessly into the natural environment and the sauna near the lagoon would rate amongst the best saunas in the world. Staff are super friendly and attentive and the glamping amenities are world class. Keep up the great work Metung Hot Springs. We will be back!

Shutout to Milu which told us all about the 950 million year old water and gave us a little tour around the place. Such an enthusiastic and happy person!

The attention to detail, cleanliness and friendliness of the resort was outstanding on a global scale. Wonderful place to unwind and watch the turtles float by. Not to mention magnificent water views from the Hilltop. Love this place!

I had a wonderfully relaxing time with family and friends at the Metung Hot Springs. The views were unrivalled over the Gippsland Lakes area and the facilities at a very high standard. I have visited the Peninsula Hot Springs many times and was not disappointed by the Metung location. Staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful.

Highly recommend this hot spring. My skin feels really smooth, pools design are special. Hill top barrels are fun! Landscape is beautiful with lake & lagoon around.

We've usually gone to Peninsula Springs but decided to try their new resort/spa....we were not disappointed. Can't wait to experience everything again when the development is totally finished. Go just go.

Lovely spot secluded in the bush. Not many pools but they are still under construction. The hilltop barrels were my favourite. We glamped and it was absolute luxury. Such a cool experience, never done it before. Private barrels on your deck with geothermal water on tap, breakfast served, gorgeously set amongst the trees. So relaxing!

This place is amazing. The hot springs are delights, the landscaping is artfully done and will be even more delightful as it matures. Those little barrel springs, that's a must do. The sauna amd cold plunge was exhilarating. The view is next level. But the staff win the day with going the extra mile to make you feel special, welcome, and relaxed. I came straight from the bush and into a different heaven here. WORTH IT! Bring a hat and a water bottle for full enjoyment, they have filtered taps for filling. Bring a robe, carry bag for clothes, and flip flops to save a few dollars. Get the towel service, worth it.

Had THE most amazing birthday stay at the Hot Springs, and glamped in one of the lagoon tents. The rooms were so stylish, the comfiest bed I've ever slept on, breakfast was delivered and so good, the grazing platters - urgh! You have your own wine barrel hot springs on the balcony. The pools themselves were lovely, a fair few to explore, all with different views, and the floating sauna and cold plunge were highlights. Only negative is they are not accessible as lots of stairs. Service was amazing and staff went above and beyond.

My wife and I went to the Springs yesterday and found it very relaxing.
Unfortunately I stayed in the top pool(39-40°) way to long and had a fainting episode. Tim was quickly on the spot and there just happen to have 2 physios there as well to help out. Everything turned out fine and I'd just like to say Thank you for everyone who helped me. Can't fault the Springs just don't stay in to long.
