Akora Flats

This is a perfect location for an exciting holiday. Accommodation was clean with all the essentials provided. That incl a special unexpected treat - a bottle of wine!!! Thank you.
The facilities for our 2 dogs was perfect with the fenced lawn area. The outdoor entertaining area was great, though we didn't use with our short stay. Well done Jess and the team

We stayed for 5 nights in Jan 2024 with our dog. We stayed in flat 1 & enjoyed it. Flat was comfortable for 2 adults & 1 dog. There was another bedroom of bunk beds however we didn't need/use this. Good size fenced yard. 700m walk to the main street of Metung with shops & places to eat. Jess (host) was friendly & contactable throughout the stay. Would recommend & would stay again.

Well appointed, clean and tidy flat. Had everything we needed and was in a great location with the beautiful village only a short walk away. Dog friendly with a lovely courtyard and grassy area. Good Communication with hosts who provided comprehensive information regarding the amenities both in the flat and nearby. Any queries were responded to quickly. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

Akora Flats was a perfect stay for us in Metung. Waking distance to town and fitted with all the amenities we required.

We had a great time with our 2 dogs. Very attentive hosts that gave us great information prior to our trip and then checked in with us during the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Very clean unit with all the amenities we needed provided for us. Walking distance to town which was handy. We will be back again!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation! The beds were comfortable, the location stunning and the bottle of wine very welcoming. Our pups loved the the grassed area to play as well. Highly recommended. Jess was lovely to deal with and the videos explaining how to operate everything a fantastic idea. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

Our stay at Acora flats was very comfortable. The flat is exceptionally clean and has everything you need. It is situated on a nice and quiet street, very green and beautiful. The flat had enclosed backyard fully fenced and good for our dog. All the Metung attractions are within 5 min drive, about 30 min to Lakes Entrance. Jess is very helpful and responsive. We will be back for sure!

We had a lovely few days staying at Akora. Very comfy couches & queen bed was amazing. Kids loved the double bunk.
Amenities were terrific & the dishwasher at bench height was excellent.
The complimentary bottle of red was a lovely treat as was the wifi & apps such as Netflix on the tele.
Walking distance to town & short drive to the Metung Hot Springs.

We chose Akora Flats to stay at for a five day break because it is dog friendly. It was perfect for us as our unit had a small fenced in dog run on the side.
The unit was well equipped with everything we needed - induction stove top, microwave, dishwasher. The videos that the hosts sent us of how to work everything were very helpful. Be sure to read the one on how to get into the unit. The bed was very comfortable, good quality linen and towels. Good shower, comfy couches. No TV reception but we had Netflix, Google, Youtube to keep us happy.
We explored Metung and surrounding area. Easy to walk around the town. Nice walk at the end of the street that takes you into the town.
Make sure you go to Metung Pub - great pub with fantastic food. Excellent communication from hosts, making sure we were settled, etc.

We had a beautiful stay it was clean peaceful and close to the shops.

I always love staying at Akora flats with my dogs. Units are quiet, spacious and comfortable with all practical needs provided for. The location is in easy walking distance to the main part of town and the units are absolutely my go to place when staying in Metung.

Spent a very pleasant two nights at this apartment recently and found it as clean, comfortable and enjoyable as you could ever wish for. Great value for money but still with all the mod cons, especially the well appointed kitchen which we loved. Town is only a short 10 min walk, handy when you've had a few at the pub down near the wharf.

Comfortable, quiet, dog friendly accommodation within walking distance of Main Street. Great secure backyard for the dogs. Good instructions by host. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Metung.

We recently stayed at Akora Flats Metung and thoroughly enjoyed our stay,
We had four adults sleeping separately and still had room. The Akora Flats are perfectly located to the main part or town and only a two minute drive to the water or shops. That’s if you are a slow driver..
Akora is a great choice, clean with all you will need for a stay on the beautiful Gippsland lakes.

Stayed in flat 2. Clean & tidy, comfortable apartment, beds were comfortable, quality bedding and towels provided. Enough space for family of four. Fully equipped kitchen,
perfect location not too far to walk to shops. Plenty of car parking, quiet street. We loved it and the bottle of wine provided by the hosts was a lovely touch. Thankyou. We look forward to staying again!

Dog friendly, no frills but very comfortable accommodation in a great location. It is walking distance to local cafes and restaurants, and the lake. It is not a great deviation from the Princes Highway, so is a perfect stop on the way north or south. Metung is a quiet lovely little town. The bed is comfortable, and the whole place is very clean.

We had a lovely stay at Akora. The flat was exceptionally clean and well equipped. A quiet location with only a couple of minutes to the town centre. It was great that we could take our doggie with us. We would highly recommend.

Quiet. Very comfortable. Absolutely no reason to think about looking for alternative (dog friendly) accommodation.
From the time the initial contact was made, Jess has been spot on with her responses. Brilliant.

Great budget accommodation. Has everything you need for a short stay. Clean and comfortable within walking distance of everything in Metung but still extremely quiet. Communication with Adele was quick and easy. The suggestions for restaurants and other things to do around the area were really helpful
