Independent Port Campbell

I had an excellent experience with this service station. Yes the price of fuel was a lil expensive but what do you expect from an independent service station that is in a tourist destination. The alternative is drive back towards Collac or down the great ocean road. It's also 24hr SELF service not 24hr attended. The attendant was nothing but nice we had a great chat and he helped me with some car troubles without even needing to be asked.

Not sure what some of the other reviewers (the 1, 2, 3 starers) expect here... this is, after all, primarily a petrol station. (And to the bloke who said it's not 24-hours. Hmmmm, yes, it is. It has a 24-hour self-service capacity. Just need to sidle up to the pump, read the instructions, and Boom! (Probably not quite the politically correct term to use, with a petrol station). Fill your vehicle with fuel any old hour of the day). Sure, it can be a little expensive for the fuel you need to buy, but (a) it's the only station in town and (b) it's the only 24-hour fuel service for miles around and (c) I doubt too many people choose to brim their tanks when they fill up here - they probably do that in one of the other suppliers on their way back to Melbourne) and (d) when you're really, really in need of some go-go juice, paying about 20 or 30 cents per litre, above the odds, is a really, really small price to pay to get you back on the road.

Anyway, I'm throwing the place a 4-star review 'cause it's my local servo, and it's a service station, fer crying out loud. Not really sure what folks are expecting in this sort of place...

The fish and chips were alright, but like every other store in town, the prices are pretty high.

Horrendous service, so rude, felt like it was an inconvenience for us to give them business. Waited ages, the list goes on! 1 star is very generous, should have just got our money back.

Extremely rude staff and owner. Not only they overcharge for petrol, they also overcharge and change their menu at will to overcharge for food (Country Fried Chicken). Basically don't refer to their menu, as it is not the actual price. Ridiculously rude customer service, had to wait for 45 minutes for food as well. Avoid if you can.

Over priced fuel by 20 percent. 2.50 ltr for diesel. Most expensive place in all of east of Australia

Very rude staffs, only pumped $59.86 but charged me $59.90. When requested for a receipt they gave me a piece of paper with a stamp(doesn’t even have a proper invoice.
Will not come back again.

If you visit great ocean road, prepare petrol before .
And expensive.

This is the only petrol station. Super overprice petrol. And rundown. Do top up your tank before arriving in this town.
