Wine club member here - aside from this being the best winery in Victoria, their customer service is amazing! Had some courier issues with an order, spoke to Amy and she resolved things immediately. She turned a frustrating issue into an outstanding outcome. Love your work.

Best big red wine maker in the world. Arrived late but looked after very well by the friendly helpful staff. Couldn't ask for more. If you like your wines big, with tastings across multiple vintages, this is the must goto winery of Rutherglen for old style wines with huge dollops of fruit and tannins. Wines that will keep improving for years and years!

It had been many years since I'd been here. How wonderful was it to be greeted buy the same bloke who greeted me last time. The wine was as good as ever. Bold and full bodied. Went in for one bottle, went home with eight. Thanks Robin.

Recommend you visit the winery or at least pick up some Warrabilla wine because it is absolutely amazing wine. A hidden gem.
Have visited the winery a couple of times over the years and joined as a member on my first visit many years ago. I receive an annual pack which acts as a birthday present from my wife each year.
The cellar door tasting at the winery is free and extremely generous. The service has always been friendly and makes you feel welcome. Some cellar door staff at other wineries I’ve been to make you feel uncomfortable but certainly not the case here regardless of your knowledge level or wine preference.
I honestly believe that the wine (especially Durif but also Shiraz) is one of the best in the country so the fact that it isn’t more popular amazes me… I consider it a hidden gem…for now anyway. The 2015 Parolas Durif is the seriously phenomenonal.

We had an amazing afternoon testing more than a dozen wines. Michelle was a wonderful host. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the tasting was free of charge. We bought more wine than we expected and highly recommend this winery. The winery is RV and caravan parking friendly.

I ordered a case of the new Smithy’s Blend No. 8 this Wednesday and it arrived the next day in Canberra - amazing! The wine is delicious!
Amy and Smithy are brilliant winemakers and also warm and friendly people.
We have a saying in our family ‘ there is nothing as good as Warrabilla wines’. We have drunk wines all over Australia and Europe at one, two and three star Michelin restaurants and we have not found better.

Recently spent a few days in the Rutherglen region and just happened upon this place-recommended by another winery in the region when we commented that their reds weren't quite as heavy as we liked! This place would have to be our pick of the 7 wineries we visited-at least for a bold red. Keep up the great producing guys🍷

Yes, lovely big reds, but also delicious whites. Highly recommend the Riesling. There is a great richness that carries across all the wines that makes this one of our favourite local wineries. The staff are always friendly and visiting is a relaxed experience free from pretence or pressure.

The shiraz varieties and the durif were amazing. The tawny fortified wine was DELICIOUS! Many thanks to Robyn who was extremely helpful, informative and delightful. We had a fantastic experience and cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend!!

After a slight issue with my delivery, I received a phone call not more than a minute after lodging a form on the website requesting contact - on a Sunday! - and the issue was solved immediately. Do not miss this place. The wines are unbelievable. It is a small family business with staff that are extremely knowledgeable. They also have a very cute red healer we fell in love with. The Durif is the best in Australia.

Truely amazing wines, biggest reds I have ever tasted and been enjoying now for over two years, Great family winery and fantastic staff. Worth driving there first when you go the Rutherglen or Yarrawonga. Cheers!

A wonderful winery for those that enjoy a full bodied red. The wines here will blow your socks off. The staff are all very friendly and most knowledgeable. Do yourself a favour and visit if you are in the area.

Second to none. Best collection of reds under one winery roof. Even the clean skins will astound you! Down to earth family service. No pretension here. My personal favourite when it comes to really big ballsy reds. Have yet to find someone who disagrees.

Stopped in on Smithy a week ago great chat about all wines in districts an excellent 20 minutes, case of Smithy’s Shiraz Durif Cab #4 drinking very well can recommend to all great for midweek dinner or more..

Reminds me of my trip to Ireland a few years back where I also found a Bold Big Arsed Red that kept me warm in the winter. Parolas 2013 Shiraz best I ever had.
