Housemade Food & Coffee

We had the Lemon Pepper Chicken Burgers and they were delicious and made with very fresh ingredients. Perfect serving size for lunch and reasonable price. Very impressed. Lovely atmosphere out the back even if you are subject to the weather a little.

Beautiful view across the lake!! Came multiple times especially for the coffee!!! And lemon meringue cheesecake!!!
But also had breakfast, which sensibly comes in small or large sizes. Everything was delicious!!

We sat on the deck, on a cool day. Close to the heater, it was quite comfy. I needed to order gluten free, and was pleased to find that was easy (pumpkin and chick pea curry, just the ticket). My companion had a pair of little savoury tarts, which he really enjoyed. We sat outside specially to keep an eye on the water. There was a lovely little grebe keeping us company.

This cafe is attached to the tourist information Centre, which you really must visit. We were there a bit late in the afternoon, and other lunch venues in town were closing up, so it was good to see this lovely spot open.

Ate breakfast here twice, fast service, nice food, lovely to sit out on the deck and look over the lake, highly recommend the lemon cheesecake and chai latte

Great place for both lunch & breakfast.
The breakfast range is large & the lunch menu even more so.
Plenty of gluten free options (just make sure to note this preference to the friendly staff).
The deck out the back is a great spot to eat, rain or sunshine, with a wonderful view of the water & bridge.
We will be back!

The slow cooked Greek style lamb souvlaki was delicious.

Great place for local info but fantastic place for lunch and coffee and cake. Everything is made fresh on the premises and tastes delicious. We enjoyed our coffee and cake on the terrace overlooking the lake which is sheltered from the wind so you can enjoy the warm sunshine and the great views. We were recommended to come here from a local business and enjoyed it so much that we had lunch there the next day. The staff are so friendly that you will want to come back. Highly recommended.

Made a reservation before bringing some guest over for lunch. The staff were friendly and courteous. They had a great spot laid out, where the view was great and yet comfortably warm (it was winter). Everything is prepared including the number of baby chairs. The experience is almost magical. Thanks.

The Lake Cafe and Deck is one of those places that I HAVE to go to when I'm in Yarrawonga. If its a long weekend or January holidays. My holiday isn't complete unless I've had my coffee and cake from there! Even my husband craves their freshly baked cakes and he isn't a sweet tooth. Their breakfast and savory dishes are the best in the area by far! That together with their deck and the Murray lapping just 0.5 of a meter away makes for a relaxing and delicious experience.

It's so relaxing by the water,waiting for a coffee and tea. The sun is shining,the water is lapping near the edge of the coffee shop. .So tranquil. My chai tea has arrived, the cup is huge..Smells divine. Can't wait to try.Taste is blissful. Absolutely beautiful tea and coffee. If your near pop in and take a moment to rest and relax here. Well worth it

If you are in Yarrawonga treat yourself to lunch here. I was there today with my 90 year old mother. We both could not fault our meal. The staff are lovely and the food was served quickly. They have a vast and varied menu using mostly local products. Cannot praise them enough ! Marg Kay

The most beautiful food in Yarrawonga , Mulwala.
Really lovely staff. The lemon meringe cheesecake is to die for. Plus the pizzas and salad just delicious. Thankyou we love eating there
