Bridgewater Bakehouse

Great service and product here. We popped into the Bridgewater Bakehouse for lunch and coffee. The place was jumping. We were very impressed with the friendly and efficient service considering how busy they were. The coffees and lunch items were just excellent. I can highly recommend this already popular Bakehouse. Well done to the team!!! We will return.

My partner and I both had a pie from the Specials board, he had the steak and pepper and I had the lamb and gravy. They were so so good! Mine tased like a lamb and gravy roll but in a pie. The lamb was sliced like roast lamb and was absolutely packed in. We also got coffees which were really good. Highly recommend stopping here!

Stopped by early morning, have never been able to before as the queues are out the door. The pie, sausage roll and pasty all passed the test. The coffee was also very good.
Next time will definitely try the Vanilla Slice, if the queue isn’t to long 😊

Absolute gem of a place. We arrived and wanted a salad roll the girls are more than happy to make you one and no fuss. Highly recommend

Always busy, always hits the spot! Perfect way to break up a 6+hr drive. Extremely well priced - eg 3 meat pies, 1 chicken satay pie, three cakes/slices, 2 large coffees all for $45! We hope this place never changes its menu!

People queue up out the door and down the street.
Bridgewater is a half way stop for us to visit family (6.5 hour drive) so a good time for a break and a pie.
They have a good range of pies and I'm still working my way through their menu.

Being so busy it's good to have your mind made up before you hit the counter, so you're not holding up a huge queue while you consider all the options.

Stopped off on the way to Mildura after an early 5.30 start from Melbourne. A gem of a place with quality food and coffee. Highly recommend the vanilla slices. Lady serving us was lovely. Loos just next door, which was handy.

Good variety of pies, even late in the afternoon, and the two we tried- plain, and chicken in honey mustard sauce were delicious!
They also served the best lemon tarts that I have ever had- would highly recommend!!!

The roast lamb and gravy pies are to die for! Thinly sliced pieces of roast lamb smothered in delicious gravy with crusty pastry. Absolutely delicious.

The vanilla slice is also amazing.

If you are going anywhere that requires you to go through Bridgewater, I highly recommend making it your stop for morning tea, lunch, or just a snack or a coffee. 😊

Absolutely delicious place in the area!
We stopped their twice with delightful staff and delicious menu.
We had a vanilla slice, yoyo, pizza and scroll they were totally delicious.
The second time we had a hedgehog, mushroom and steak pie, sausage roll, jalapeno pie, custard tart and couldn't go past the yoyo again!

Came home with two pies of every flavour, that's how good the pies are.
Nice bakery, stacks of per made food, service was very busy, but quick, staff friendly.
Honestly the custard tart was better than the vanilla slice.

Stopped on a long road trip as heaps of cars. Always a good indication of a good feed. Proved correct. I had coffee, chicken and salad roll & vanilla slice.
Top notch country service and food was definitely worth the stop.
Take your food and sit by the river.

Busy busy little bakery! You know it must be good if there's a line out the door. Husband had a Lamb pie which had layers of lamb no mince he'd never had anything like it loved it. I had a lovely egg and lettuce sandwich on really fresh wholemeal bread great experience:-)

This is a great little bakery their pies are amazing flavour filled without being over the top a must stop when I'm passing through the area around lunchtime.

Awarded best vanilla slice many times over and I can see why after eating one, outstanding! The lamb and mint pie was also delicous. A must stop when roadtripping through wester Victoria
