Grannys Flat Reserve

Large well groomed space with two toilet blocks. Sufficient for several large groups to camp, without being close to independent campers.

The track to get here was closed so we parked up and decided to walk to the reserve. It is an easy walk down and back. The track condition was pretty good, which is why its closed during winter to keep it that way. Down at the reserve there are two lots of long drop toilets with room to change inside. No tap. Around a km away is the other reserve.
Picnic tables, a makeshift ‘boat ramp’ and fishing spots galore 🙂

Fantastic camp ground with a river close by. Roads leading to it were very friendly however the last 200m was a rather steep downhill. Very flat sites with established fire rings and grassy sites.

Beautiful and safe river frontage. Lots of fun to be had floating down the little rapids.

Great place for camping, toilets, fire pits and wood fire bbq pits.

Amazing place to camp by the river! Does get very busy during warmer weather but If you do get a spot you won't regret it. The sounds of the river are blissful and the public drop toilets are surprisingly clean! If you don't mind being close to other people but do enjoy camping and water this place is for you. Would recommend getting there with a 4wd or a family suv as the entrance to this place would be slightly more difficult for a sedan or lower cars in general. There is reception aswell so you don't have to worry about having no contact to the outside world. Would recommend for families and recreational campers

Great location, plenty of space for camping, clean and maintained toilets. The track in is not quite user freindly to non 4wd vehicles. Would not recommend driving in if its been raining without a 4wd. That last decent is tricky going back up.

A great place to camp by the river. Drop toilets are good. Didn't like the descent down to the camp site on a dirt road, that was a bit scary. Make sure u take a four wheel drive with power to get down there and back up.

An absolute pearler! River flowing with birds chirping and Kookaburras singing in the morning, just like I remember as a kid :) If it wasn't for a lovely lady making a space for us, we would have been stranded for the night. Bless her on her travels xo Will go back again for sure!

Lovely spot, but if you've got a big van. Check it first
