Amazing views. Beautiful well kept gardens to stroll. The cottages are pristine and the hosts will make you feel like family the instant you arrive... they truly do spoil you!!

This is a very special place. We stayed in this beautiful property for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. The gardens are stunning and lovingly maintained, and the cabins have the most incredible outlook over the river. But what really makes this place stand out are the hosts Colin and Barbara - beautiful people who are so kind and welcoming, and who would do anything for their guests. From fluffy warmed towels, to bathrobes and generous breakfast provisions this property has everything you could want, plus extra surprises such as home baked treats. Colin and Barbara obviously love this place and get genuine joy from spoiling their guests and sharing this lovely corner of the world with visitors. Highly recommend. We will be back one day for sure!

I cannot speak highly enough about our stay. We decided to stay two nights as Barbara & Colin makes it impossible to want to leave. From their care and attention to the detail of the room and their garden, to the scrumptious breakfast... The little extras are such a wonderful surprise and the location of visiting the unique Seahorse and Platypus attractions makes it a must stay on a Tassie adventure.

From the moment we drove in the driveway we felt totally at home. There was nothing Barbara & Colin couldn’t do for us. Immaculate room with all the trimmings. Wine glasses,bath robes, coffee plunger & coffee, all sorts of goodies for breakfast, beautiful comfortable bed, all the comforts from home are there. The garden is full of treasures and to sit in the gazebo with a glass of wine looking over the garden and the inlet is just spectacular.

I have so many good things to say about this place I don’t know where to start. We stayed here for our wedding which, coincidentally, was at the property next door. Our first impression of the place as we drove down the driveway to the reception was fantastic. The hosts, Barbara and Colin, are clearly keen and attentive gardeners. They are friendly, personable and extremely helpful. We were shown to our accommodation which had an amazing view of the gardens and water. The accommodation was very well equipped and well up to date. It includes an outdoor seating area with the same view. Between the room and the reception there is a barbecue area equipped with kitchen items, seating and an electric bbq. We used it on our first night and just soaked in the atmosphere and views. We had a baby with us and a travel cot was set up in the room before we arrived. Barbara and Colin engaged with our 1 year old daughter so well whenever they came into contact with her. They really went the extra mile for us during our stay, even offering to take care of Imogen (baby) while we got ready for the wedding. I would 100% recommend this place. I’d be more than happy booking again.

We recently stayed at Beauty Point Cottages and were warmly welcomed by Barb & her partner Colin.

Barb was a great host. Explained all features of the room and property, and have us ideas on activities/foodie things to do while down that way!

The room was extremely clean, comfortable bed and a lovely spa bath to relax.

The room has loads of extras, Barb & Colin have obviously gone to a lot of effort to think about the little things you may forget!

We were provided with a delicious breakfast platter and extra breakfast options.
(Even had some sneaky fudge and short bread as bonuses)

The gardens are beautiful and very close walk to the water where there are bbq facilities and kayaks.
We both highly recommend.

It has been a couple of years but i think the following still apples. Beautiful accommodation, with breakfast. gorgeous views and garden. But there 3 things that make this place very memorable; Barb, Colin and 'Mr Happy" the dog. The warm welcome, local advice were excellent. I can only remember a few places we have stayed at over the years that stays in our memory like Beauty Point Cottages

What a wonderful start to our Tassie holiday. Barb and Colin the hosts are delightful and super helpful. We are a group of 4 are had the 2 cottages. The cottages are gorgeous, tastefully decorated and comfortable. They have everything you need and more. The breakfast hamper is extremely generous with delicious selections and then there’s the little extra homemade treats. We felt very spoilt. The view and tranquility is so relaxing.

Our hosts were amazing and true to their promise "we look forward to spoiling you". Breakfast provisions were delicious and varied each day. Enough for lunch too if you wanted. The cottage was well appointed, comfortable and had everything you could need and more. Thanks, we will be back some time 😊

We had a celebratory, but very relaxing two days away staying at Beauty Point cottages. Despite being on a main road the cottage was quiet.We slept well in the very comfortable bed--looking out over the river. The pretty garden setting and river frontage make for a peaceful get away! Wait till you see your breakfast tray..and I would love the recipe for the macadamia-nut shortbread biscuits, Colin. :) Thank you Colin and Barbara for making us feel so welcome.

We stayed here for a couple of nights on a driving tour from Hobart to Devonport - it was recommended by a chap at "Seahorse World" and turned out to be a superb recommendation. We had our own secluded, modern, luxuriously appointed cottage set in bushland, "Bed & Breakfast" style with a fridge and pantry crammed with delicious food that we could cook at our own leisure in the cottage or the outdoor kitchen. I chose the latter and thoroughly enjoyed frying up my bacon & eggs surrounded by serene and beautiful surroundings - what an amazing way to start the day! This is my #1 recommendation for a place to stay while touring Tasmania - don't miss it!

What a beautiful place to relax and unwind, on a arriving we were greeted by Collin and Barbara, our hosts, what a lovely friendly couple, they went above and beyond our expectations, we felt very spoilt while we were there, their attention to cleanliness and detail was 5 star. The Cove cottage was amazing, overlooking beautiful gardens and the water, we would highly recommend this accommodation , if you've looked at the rest, now book the best.

Barbara and Colin really do create a little lux escape. The little touches are what count and after staying here it was hard to have realistic expectations of other accommodation throughout Tas. Hands down a great place to come pity no space for families because it's just precious!

Wonderful place! Loved the garden with world’s most delicious apples, loved the view and the thoughtful, clean and cozy cottage. Delicious breakfast and thorough inside knowledge about local goings on. Thank you, Barbara, for such a loving service. :)

Fantastic! We loved it so much. There was so much attention to detail ( music playing in the room, homemade biscuits, towel warmer and beautiful breakfast platter to name a few!)

Barbara is a lovely host and we had everything we needed in this lovely Cottage. The grounds of the.property are beautiful and sunrise and views stunning. Loved our stay here.

Fantastic stay at this lovely B&B.. the host Barb & Colin were amazing and such warm, lovely people. The cottage rooms were beautiful with a lovely water view (and view of the stunning gardens). Enjoyed having a walk down to the water and through the magical gardens. The daily breakfasts were sensational and different every morning. Can’t recommend the place enough, their motto is “let us spoil you!” And we were certainly spoilt during our stay :)

Barbara & Colin are wonderful hosts.. there’s nothing you want for here!! Everything is spot on.. immaculate accommodation, great breakfasts & heaps of recommendations of sights to see.. highly recommended.

Stayed in the Bay Cottage for 3 nights, absolutely amazing, Barbara and Colin are wonderful hosts, breakfast hampers were fantastic, and the location is great. Thoroughly recommended.
