I normally only write bad references to warn people, but this café deserves my best review. There I was, cold and wet after trying and hitchhike for over 2h close to the train station (unsuccessfully). First I scared the lady arriving on her back, lol. Then I asked to use the toilet, and she was so nice in letting me use it for free that I decided to eat and drink something.
I could see she was making a huge effort to speak English, which was highly appreciated. After bringing me the hot chocolate, she came back to tell me that she was sorry for the delay, but the food was being prepared with much love. Indeed! My baguette was delicious, I could taste the love they put in there!
After I was done eating and drinking, they let me stay there charging my phone and watching series and, still, treated me so nicely! Highly recommended!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Bar war voll, da durften wir in der Hotel Lobby sitzen und wurden dort mit Getränken verwöhnt. Daniela Grazie mille.

Eigentlich eine Hotelbar aber auch so für den einen oder anderen Besuch geeignet. Klein aber sehr gemütlich. Und irgendwie familiär. Freundliche Bedienungen, egal wer gerade Dienst hat. Und außerdem gibt es hier das sogenannte "Lieser Bräu", ein naturtrübes Zwickel Bier einer kleinen Kärntner Brauerei, das meines Wissens nur hier in ganz Villach ausgeschenkt (natürlich vom Fass) wird. Also ich gehe immer wieder mal gerne hin.

Sehr nettes Personal im Hotel, Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich in Buffet Form, ob geräucherter Schinken, Speck oder Gemüse lässt es kaum Wünsche offen.
