Pension Alpenrose

This place is amazing. First and foremost, the owner is great, very nice and helpful. She even helped me carrying the luggage upstairs. The location is ideal: very near the CityExpress, and a few minutes walk from from the town centre. The rooms are cosy and uber clean. Highly recommended!

A real gem in the Austrian alps. Picked the Alpenrose Pension at Zell am See for a two night stay because of unpretentious feeling and reasonable prices. My wife and I were warmly greeted by Annie upon arrival. She helped point out events and served a lovely breakfast each morning. Great location, just 10 min walk from shops and the town center. Also possible to walk uphill ~20 min to the gondola ride to the mountain top. There is a bus (Annie provided a complimentary pass) that can save your legs for when you get to lovely mountain paths. Free parking was a big help!

Very nice hotel, and Annie who runs the hotel was very nice, happy and servicdeminded, she is great! We were two adults and a child living in the hotel. We were on a skiing holiday in February 2022.
We had a room with toilet and shower. The room was clean and spacious. Lots to choose from for breakfast; fresh bread, yogurt, cereals, various cold cuts, fruit, good coffee from the coffee machine.
There was storage in the hotel for the skis, and a drying room for the boots. The hotel was close to the ski lift, it took about 5 minutes to walk there, and about 7 minutes walk to the centre of the town.

The most friendly hostress! Everything was perfect! Breakfast was good, and the best thing was that you could pre-order day before fresh bread from good variety. The location couldn't be better for skiing. City center also very near and the beautiful lake Zeller See. Very homely place, where guests feel themselves warmly welcome.

This beautiful chalet is ideally located just 2 mins walk from the city express lift and bus to Saalback and Kaprun. Annie was very accomodating when my son broke his arm and let him eat and drink in the room, she also gave my other son a cake on his Birthday. It felt just like home! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay 😊

You can tell that hostess Anni really cares for the guests and it shows. Rooms are clean and fine, breakfast is good. The location is very good for skiing.

It is located in a beautiful town, near a magnificent lake in the Austrian alps.

The host was very kind and helpful. She is a local lady, familiar with the place and with what type of attractions are suitable for tourists coming from thousands of miles away.

She is an awesome lady to know!

Location is the best, a couple of blocks from the center of town. we have a creek running behind our room, I love that sound. You can see the valley below which is gorgeous. Breakfast is great and included.

A wonderful place to stay in Zell am See. The owner is super friendly and likes to chat with the guests and the breakfast is very good. The wifi is speedy and free and the rooms clean and comfy. Walking to the centre takes only about 5 minutes.

It's just an excellent place to stay. The place is clean, smells good, and neat all the time. Anna is an excellent host, always smiling, and very kind hearted.
