Berg'k'hof Kaisertal

Beautiful hotel in the mountains. After hiking for one hour (can be 20min when fit) you reach the hotel, situated in beautiful surroundings. We received a warm welcome and were shown our room which was very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the valley and mountains. Our luggage was transported for us and arrived in the evening.
Bathroom was spacious, clean and very modern. The entire hotel was renovated recently and appears very stylish, yet cosy.

The food was great. Delicious local cuisine very well cooked and very reasonably priced. We were impressed by the service personnel of the hotel. Very friendly, fast, and always professional.

The hotel has a very nice looking spa area, which we didn't actually use since we were hiking from early early morning to late. It's a great area with easy to challenging and well signposted hiking trails. I would recommend heading up to the Stripsenjochhaus. A 7 hour round-trip with stunning views.

We really enjoyed the vibe of the hotel. It's easy to get to know other travelers and talk about the day while enjoying a beer on the large terrace, inside the authentic dining rooms or the casual lounge that is open for all guest.

The views are beautiful, restaurant has panoramic windows! You can view surroundings mountain peaks while enjoying your food. It also has games and books if you have good time to spend or rest for little longer. Recently I got to know that you can also stay here and the property has rooms!

The location is wonderful once you are there. And probably also for those who realize better than we did that there is a long walk uphill from the parking to the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Berg'k'hof Kaisertal. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful and the food is tasty. We also eat the best Kaiserschmarrn and pizza at Veitenhof. We were able to upgrade to the Alm Hütte, which is an unique experience. We can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at this Inn for 2 weeks and had a splendid time. The scenery is beyond your wildest dreams and you imagine yourself in any Alpine classics such as Heidi.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by the manager Florian who we got to know better during our stay (along with the other friendly staff such as Stefan). The manager is passionate about his job and his place to ensure this is a place people want to revisit (which we are planning to do so).

During our two week stay we fully enjoyed everything the inn and the surrounding area had to offer. Nice walks, a cozy common room, hot and relaxing sauna, friendly chats, board games, books and good food.

Especially the breakfast was a start of the day to look forward to as well as the classic Austrian / Tiroler meals served (as well as some very good Italian options due to the Italian roots of the chefs). Even though only offering a limited menu, which is a good thing as the food is organic and prepared fresh and locally sourced, options are varied and also include vegan and veggie options.

Note you can only reach the inn by foot but this is clearly indicated on booking websites and the site of the accommodation itself. So expect a bit of a walk (which can be tough for some) but what do you expect: you are staying in a preserved and protected nature park in the alps. Aside from that communication is personal and modern. They use a website on which you can check your bills, ask for help and make reservations. For their food service they also use a digital booking method.

Before I forget: our room was cozy and had a balcony facing the sun so we could enjoy our stay in our privacy as well.

Everything was fine. Very clean. Beautiful landscapes. Great breakfasts. Great location for mountain hiking. We had an attic room with a small window with no terrace, not too big but still great. Very cozy and well-equipped games room. Delicious cuisine. Very nice service. We would love to come back in winter.

This is a very nice hotel. We spent two nights there and had a very good time. It has everything you clean and comfortable rooms, a small sauna which can booked for private use, delicious food. Itnis a bit of walking to arrive at the hotel from the parking but it is worth it.

We had a great time staying at Berg'k'hof & can't wait to go back again for another weekend trip. Florian went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay enjoyable & relaxing. The hotel / the rooms / bathrooms are very modern and clean. Fluffy white towels, lovely food in the restaurant and the view from the terrace is amazing. The hot tub and sauna were such a treat as well and were very well maintained & very clean. Can't recommend it enough! Julia, Emily & Melina

I've loved the place! Its a cosy hideout up in tha mountains. Perfect spot for people searching for a hiking holiday.
The premises themselves are only available through an aprox 2,7 km hiking trail. Which fits perfectly into the place's atmosphere.
The staff was very kind to us. The rooms are tidy.
I really don't have any complaints.
I'd recommend going for the breakfast. Its more than satisfactory. 😊

We stopped here for a late lunch while walking in the Kaisertal. This serves excellent Austrian food (Schnitzel, Spätzle, Kaiserschmarn) in beautiful surroundings. The service was efficient and friendly. Certainly will pay a return visit.

Very nice service. Our dream of an Austrian hide away was forfilled. The staff was so friendly and serviceminded.
Parts of the building is 500 years old and one of the areas oldest. Recently renovated to modern standards, clean and well decorated.
It is a bad surprise, if you have not read the info, about the 2,6km (not 2,2km ;-)) you have to walk from the parking lot. It's a nature reserve so no puplic driving. But its a beautyfull walk.
The silence and nature is breathtaking.
Hikers Paradise.
The food is homemade and made with care. Vegan options is possible.
They will transport your bags, for a small fee.
We slept well and is overall very satisfied. We might come back.
