Random restaurant pick on a dead quiet Friday night in Melk, we had a very good dinner here. Both the schnitzel and vegetable strudel were excellent, as was the service. We are surprised at the many very negative reviews as our experience was quite positive.

Excellent! We booked a family room and stayrd 2 nights. Breakfast was included and tasty althogh there were no egss served. We chose to also eat dinner in the 2 nights we were there. We tried the pork shitzle, the cordon blue, pizza and the barcque pork - all were tasty and to our liking. The apple shrudell was ok but not a hit

Nice room for a fair price , over the restorant/pub, like in the old days.
Room in a 500 year old building yet modern and in excellent condition.
Staff is very nice and location is simplly perfect. 5 min walk from rhe the huge monesterry , lovely exibit at a fair price , old town with nice restorants 3 min walk and rveny privat be parking by the room - fantastic - loved it.

Very good old fashioned café in Melk with nice service. Mohr im Hemd was delicious, coffee too, prices are reasonable. I can only recommend.
