Old Tatev B&B

Very nice B&B close to Monastery Tatev. It's very comfortable if you don't use the funicular to reach the monastery and you're by car.
The facility was new, very clean and with all you need. The food they prepared us was also delicious!

Never underestimate this homestay by seeing the entrance. At first we also thought that this is going to be a nightmare but once you are in the property, it is just a Beautiful homestay ❤. Especially for couples or families. We loved this homestay more than other hotels we stayed in Armenia. The best part is the host and his Mom, they are very friendly and treat like family even though we are a tourist.
Only cash is accepted here.
Really good breakfast. Check out the pictures to see how beautiful the location is. Peaceful, bliss, fresh air, lots of flowers and fruits, colourful surroundings. Well maintained area.
Even the night is beautiful. Feels like home.
The private bathroom and the rooms are also well maintained and clean. This is best for software engineers who work from anywhere.
The Tatev monetary is only 5-10 mins walkable distance from this homestay.

Beautiful environment in a charming family guest house in the heart of the mountains of Tatev. The mother and son hosted us very well and kindly. Rooms are impeccable. The garden is very charming, where we could enjoy a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely family owned B&B. The hosts are extremely nice and treat you like their own. Upon arrival, they fed us lunch. Breakfast is excellent and they will cater to your schedules. We had to leave early to return to Yerevan and only requested a simple breakfast of coffee, bread and jam, but they gave us a full breakfast anyways. They will offer guidance on the local attractions and events. The room was clean and beautiful with a comfortable bed. My wife and I had a wonderful 3 nights here.

What an amazing guesthouse! The owner is extremely welcoming and makes you amazing tea upon arrival and excellent breakfast in the morning. One of my best overnight stays I ever had! The view is also fantastic!

What a lovely place! We spent 1 night at Old Tatev Guesthouse and we highly recommend it. Varo did an amazing renovation work, every details are well thought and he and his family are so sweet. Felt in like a very nice boutique hotel. Great location, very clean, good breakfast (delicious homemade jams).

It is a wonderful place to stay. The host was quite careful. The room and beds were clean and excessively comfortable. Be sure to book a room with bathroom inside if you need one.

The owner Vaxo and his mother Alvart were exceptional in their service. Everything needed for a proper stay was provided and the included breakfast was amazing. This place is very close to Tatev Monastery making it an unbeatable place to stay for the price.

This place may not look like a B&B from the outside (and it doesn’t even have sign outside) but don’t let that put you off, this place is delightful.
We stayed here during a cycle tour from Europe to Asia. We had a wonderful nights rest here and a superb breakfast in the morning. There is a herb garden behind the house and the owner makes wonderful herbal tea.
The view from the breakfast table is beautiful. A very peaceful place and great place to relax.
The beds are a little short and soft but we had a great nights sleep under the heavy duvet. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Super nice stay with this kind family in beautiful Tatev. My room was big and clean, bed was comfy, and breakfast was huge! I spend a few wonderful days in this place, I can recommend, and I'll be back for sure!

This is the best place to stay in Old Tatev! Its just a short walk to the cable car terminal and the Monastery. Don't just come for a few hours, spend a few days in this authentic, rural, scenic mountain village. Vargo and his Mother Alvard, welcomed us into their home and treated us as family. The breakfast is not just the best in Armenia, but one of the best breakfasts that we have had anywhere. They truly do everything possible to make our stay wonderful. Great value stay and such wonderful service from our very nice hosts.

Очень понравился нашей семье гостевой дом. Хозяин внимательный, доброжелательный. Все удобства в номерах. Нас было 5 человек. Два этажа заняли. Завтрак был превосходный. Внуки не хотели уезжать. Рекомендую!

Отличное, красивое и комфортное место, чтобы остановиться.
Особенно хочется отметить крытую террасу - это такой уютный лаундж с фруктами и видом на горы.
Расположение - недалеко от канатной дороги, монастыря и заведений, где можно поесть. Хорошие матрасы, неплохой с/у, всё чисто и опрятно. Немного только замок в двери заедал. Прекрасные хозяева! Предлагают вкусный чай и кофе. Завтраки включены - на нас троих был "небольшой шведский стол", всём всего хватило.
И ещё вкусное домашнее вино.
Нам всё понравилось, рекомендуем для остановки.
