Sun Bakers Hostel Himara

Staff are really friendly. We did the boat party which I highly recommend - a lot of fun.

The place has a really nice ambience, would definitely recommend and would 10/10 stay here again.

Only problem was there was no hot water in our room, and the ensuite bathrooms are a bit weird (but to be expected for albania).

Awesome hostel!! We came and rented kayaks (amazing thing to do in Himarë!) And loved the place. The guy there is super nice and honest. The place has such a great vibe with lots of travelers. The bar with draft beer and coffee is great to have. I totally recommend this place to stay or come and rent kayaks to explore the beautiful coast! Very convenient location too.

Incredible experience, beautiful view of the sea (which is only a few steps away), very nice and generous owners, very cheap beer at the bar. I was impressed with how clean the sheets and everything was too. 11/10!!

We planned to stay just for one night but extended to 4 because we had such a fun time! Good vibes 24/7 thanks to a great crew with nice conversations and the best music every evening. This felt like a little paradise <3

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever been! The location, the rooms, the breakfast, the energy just everything is amazing!
Also there is no hostel that has ever had better sundowns that I’ve been to 😍

If your after a hostel with a fun and social atmosphere 2 minute walk from the beach stay here. A small ‘’mum and dad” style shop is located 2 minutes away for food and drinks whilst the hostel provides a great free breakfast of fried eggs, omelette or French toast (coffee costs extra). The owners take great pride in the hostel and ensure the rooms and bathrooms are cleaned regularly. Beds are comfortable with privacy curtains, rooms have big lockers and air con. Kitchen has limited fridge space and is cramped at busy times when multiple people are trying to use it.

Really lovely family run hostel that makes you feel like it's a home away from home. Everyone knows your name and makes you feel super welcome. The rooms are big and the beds come with a nice curtain for privacy. The view from the hostel is amazing and there is always people in the bar to hang out with in the evening. Perfect for solo travelers so they can meet people. The breakfast is also fantastic, as is the location! Perfect spot for exploring Himare. I will definitely be visiting again.

Best hostel in Himara! Our dorm room was super spacious, every bunk with curtains, light and plug socket. And a huge balcony looking over the ocean! The bathrooms were very clean. The free breakfast was great and the owner Erion is so friendly and really made sure all guests were enjoying themselves. I highly recommend staying here as a backpacker, the location is great and it is very easy to meet other travellers.

I had a really awesome time in this hostel. It felt like home and living in a nice community. Stayed 2 nights longer than I had planned and I definitely will come back.

Very fun social hostel, well located within 50m of the beach and encourages meeting other travellers with a bar and sunshade at the beach. Free breakfast each morning was a choice of fried eggs, omelette and french toast. Kitchen can get cramped and messy, rooms are clean and bathrooms cleaned regularly.

Best place in Himarë! The owner is a really nice guy who will go above & beyond to make sure you’ll have a good time! The rooms are super spacious and the balconies have the best view over the coast. The free breakfast is lovely, and there’s always a lively atmosphere around the bar.

This is definitely where you should stay in Himarë! I had the best weekend away as a solo traveler. 100% coming back soon.
The friendliest staff and owner. Tthe chillest vibes, with good music and a fun bar. The location is perfect: great sunset views just 1 minute walk down to the nice public beach and nearby beach clubs. This area is much less crowded and nicer than Himare downtown area.
The 4-bed 3rd floor dorm was super cute, colorful, clean, and comfortable. I really liked the dorm's sea view balcony, modern bathroom (spotlessly clean!), and privacy curtain on the bunk. Everything here is spacious and bright. You'll never feel that cramped dorm feeling. This is more of a fun music-filled beach house than a typical hostel.

Superbe hostel with a unique and amazing vibe at just two minutes of the beach.
The rooms are clean, fresh and beautifully decorated.
They've got a bar and a lovely outdoor space to relax at the end of the day.
And on top of that Erjon and Eni are super nice and helpful if you need help or have any questions for trips around Himare.
My stay felt like being at home and I can't wait to come back.

Sunbakers is a little paradise in Himare! The atmosphere is what makes this place deserve a five star, it is super friendly and great for meeting lovely people! The only negative I will say is that the kitchen needs a good clean. But that said I still absolutely loved it and the staff! I will definitely return.

We wanted to stay for 2 nights but extended to one week, because we had an amazing time with great people in a really nice location. I would definitely come back! (Also the breakfast is amazing)

Had a stepover in Himara and found this nice place. Perfect location near the beach. You will meet like minded people and a very, very friendly owner. He will give you great insights about beaches, food or whatever you want.

A beautiful hostel, great location. My stay was so relaxing, I didn’t want to leave! Everything is clean, the beds are comfy. Erjon and Eni makes you feel so welcome, they’re so friendly and helpful, they make you feel like family. This hostel is the perfect place to relax in the courtyard, have a few drinks, explore the area and really soak in the beauty of Himare.

Best place to stay in Himare! I stayed here a little while back and still think about my time here. Located by the best beach in Himare with a genuine owner. Nice rooms with quality people. A few days can easily turn into a few weeks at this place. Check out the hidden beach that you have to hike the cliffs to get to. Just ask Erion.

Great Hostel, cool atmosphere with its own bar to hangout nicely. Clean place, with Persians (important for me). The owners are very easygoing and helpful people, really recommend this place, thank u😉😉
