Ricostruita dai Padri Barnabiti, dopo il regime di Enver Hoxha, su quanto rimaneva drlla chiesa di San Nicola costruita all'inizio del secolo scorso e usata durante il regime ateo come palazzo pubblico. Oggi è tornata a risplendere in un giardino ben curato e un ampio piazzale da cui lo sguardo spazia lontano sulla valle drl fiume Mat. Elevata nel 1998 a Santuario diocesano di San Nicola, custodisce un'ampolla drlla preziosa "Manna" del Santo Taumaturga di Mira, prelevata dalla sua tomba, nella Basilica in Bari.

Kjo Kishë u ndërtua para komunizmit dhe ju kushtua Shën Nikollës.
Pas vitit 1967 Kisha u shndërruar në Vatër Kulture, duke shërbyer si Kinema dhe Bibliotekë.
Në 1991 ajo ju rikthye në funksionin e sajë të plotë.
Dom Mark Sopi dhe Mons Damian Kurti kremtuar Meshën në vitet e para pas komunizmit. Po ashtu Atë Mikel Bylmeti kremtoj për disa vite.

Laç is a town and a former municipality in Lezhë County, northwestern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision and the seat of the municipality Kurbin. It was the administrative center of the former Kurbin District. The population at the 2011 census was 17,086. Its associated football club is KF Laçi. Laç is served by Laç Railway Station. source
