Byrektore Kaci

We have nicknamed this byrektore as Supreme Byrektore because it is absolutely the best byrek we have had in a month of Albanian travels.

They were hot, large, crispy and (at least for the spinach) were stuffed full. At 50 leke they were awesome value!

They also have a nice protected inside seating area which was great for a cold rainy day.

English was no problem.

I've traveled all over the balkan but it's the best byrek I've ever eaten so far. Just like my grandmother does..

Excellent Byrek. But runs out really fast as they always make it in batches. Nice break from all the overpriced touristy places by the beach. They speak some english and I had no problem interacting. Staff is quite friendly.

BEST byrek in Albania (potentially). We’ve tried so many in all the cities, and this spot really stands out.

Huge, filled to the brim, crispy on the outside, sort and delicate on the inside, served hot, and for an unbelievable value.

Recommend the spinach and the onion (cheese lovers, don’t fret, they have cheese as well). I could write a long book about this place, its kind staff, lovely atmosphere, and of course, the byrek.

The lady at the counter was very friendly. She let me in even when they were closed. I ate what look like an empanada and it was amazing. Delicious! You should come before 1PM because they close early.

Hands down the best byrek in town. They sell out of the meat ones quickly, so go early in the AM (before 9) to try one. Spinach and cheese is also fantastic.

Best byrek in Sarande. I don’t speak Albanian which is bad so definitely felt out of place here. Bloody good though. And cheap!! 70lek
