Historical bridge that now runs parallel to the main road, easily accessible and walkable although I advise some caution when walking on the bridge as its not a regular pavement but historically accurate stones paved together so they can be bumpy and slippery, especially during rain or wet conditions.
It's a must-visit icon of Tirana and just a short walk from the new mosque so definitely take a walk across so its off the bucket list!

One of the tourist spots you must see when you come to Tirana is a small historical stone bridge in the city center.

Tirana's Tanners Bridge blends history and charm. Its Ottoman architecture and serene Lana River setting create a picturesque experience. Nearby attractions make it convenient, but be prepared for occasional crowds. A must-visit for history enthusiasts and a glimpse into the city's heritage.

A rather incongruous 19th-century stone bridge remains remarkably well preserved in Tirana's modern centre and is one of just a few remnants of Ottoman Tirana. Be careful walking over it as its smooth stone surface can be very slippery. It's at the end of Rr Presidenti George W Bush.

Yesterday I was walking by and when I noticed this bridge and I immediately thought about who build it and in which period of time was it built. It looks amazing since you can see an old part of the city and by the other side of the road you can see how we have evolved and build new roads and buildings. However, we should preserve our ancient artifacts and try to recover them yearly so they can be held in a good shape. So this bridge was build during the ottoman empire so as many bridges where build during those periods of times.

Super bridge. If you start at one side you can walk over to the other side, and then back again. Wear suitable shoes and take an umbrella in case it rains. The only whole experience takes about 15 seconds.

With the birth of Tirana as a civic center in 1614, a rapid development of crafts and trade was observed. Located in a favorable geographical position, at the intersection of important trade routes, Tirana gained year after year its importance and attracted the attention of the residents around it, who year after year increased the population of the city.

An ancient bridge which is still functional. The name tobacco bridge is given as to bring out the importance of tobacco usage and trade back in these days. It is a beautiful stone bridge.

The Tanners' Bridge (Albanian: Ura e Tabakëve) is an 18th-century Ottoman period stone footbridge located in Tirana, Albania. The bridge, built near the Tanners' Mosque, was once part of the Saint George Road that linked Tirana with the eastern highlands. The road was the rout by which livestock and produce entered the city. The bridge crossed the Lanë stream near the area where butcher shops and leather workers were located. The bridge fell into disrepair when the Lanë was diverted in the 1930s. In the 1990s the bridge was restored for use by pedestrians.

This bridge I believe was hand built by Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) from full house. It is very old...like Bob Saget.
